A unique setup with both a traditional B&B in the house and individual cabin suites. We stayed in a cabin suite and it was charming! The location is in what looks like a beautiful residential area. You could walk to downtown, but it was cold so we drove. Charm abounds in Kennebunkport!
We stayed 3 nights on our honeymoon in the cupola suite and absolutely loved it!!! The place is beautiful, the breakfast spread was unbeatable, and the cupola was such a cozy spot to hang out with a book and our morning coffee. Super close to downtown Kennebunkport, and we had fun riding the bikes around too! The staff were all really friendly — just a great spot overall!
Such a wonderful experience! We were arriving after 10:30 p.m. and the front desk sent us over very clear, detailed check in instructions - making checking in a breeze. Then when we got to our room ( Deluxe cabin studio) it was so pretty. I wished I would have taken a photo, before we unpacked. The room is super spacious, with a sitting area and TV and fire place. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was lovely as well. Really beautiful earthy esthetic. We loved the Maine books that were in the room too. The communication leading up to our stay, as well as during our stay was phenomenal. If I had any questions, they were quick to answer. The breakfast they offer in the morning was lovely as well. I really don't have a bad thing to say. Would totally recommend staying here. It was my husband and I's 1 year wedding anniversary- being right in the heart of the town and such a short drive to the beach was awesome.
Very cute place, breakfast was wonderful, staff friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable. Unfortunately our fire feature did not work and the grounds were in need of manicuring but overall would recommend.
I highly recommend AWOL Kennebunkport. We chose this beautiful property to celebrate our first wedding anniversary and had a wonderful stay. The Walker Suite was spacious, and we enjoyed the indulgent touches, from the cozy gas fireplace to the large soaking tub. The thoughtfully curated light breakfast each morning was also a lovely bonus. Thank you to the AWOL Kennebunkport team for such a memorable and relaxing stay!
So fun! We had a premium cabin which was very nice and gave us all the feels. Fire pit outside and a toast bar breakfast each morning. Staff were so accommodating and the place is well located. Loved the natural landscaping with so much greenery! Great stay. Oh yes, very very clean and comfy beds!
We stay here once a year, outside cabin, very nice and quiet. They do have 3 units designated to dog friendly if you wish to bring your four legged friends. Checking in and out is very easy, they serve breakfast.. baked goods bar, fruits and granola. They are very good in communication, and quick to respond to any issues you report in the room. In a walking distance from downtown witch turns into winter in wonderland around Christmas Maybe great restaurants around it.
Really enjoyed our stay! The place was nice and the fire pit was a great touch. The lady who welcomed us at check-in was very kind and friendly. The only thing I missed was having a few more sweet options at breakfast.
